Volunteer Open Day

Have you ever thought about volunteering at the award-winning Kielder Observatory? Well...  Now's your chance! We are one of the fastest growing and unique tourist attractions in the North of England and are always looking for people to join our group of enthusiastic volunteers.  This open day will give you the chance to see the Observatory and meet the team giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about helping us deliver our fantastic range of events. No knowledge of the night sky or previous experience is necessary as all training will be provided, all that we ask is that you are reliable and have a willingness to learn. We even cover the cost of travel expenses for our volunteers! If you wish to attend with a friend or family member, please make a separate booking for each individual. During registration for this event you will be asked to "purchase tickets" however you will not be required to make any payment. This is just to enable our system to process your interest in attending this event. All attendees should be aged at least 18 yrs. (Please note: we are unable to cover travel expenses for this event)
