| The Kielder Forest Star Camp is a star party that occurs twice a year once in the spring (organised by Sunderland Astronomical Society) and once in the autumn (organised by KOAS). A star party is simply a gathering of astronomers to see the night sky, exchange ideas and listen to astronomical talks. They usually involve a few days of camping. |
